Pantoum: "Google Maps" by Aiden Levy

The quiet storefronts almost upset me

Buried relics of the past

Dinosaurs among Amazon’s kingdom

We verify their existence on Google Maps

Buried relics of the past

Now memorialized forever —

they still exist in Google Maps —

moments frozen in the past

Now memorialized forever,

life always advances around

moments frozen in the past,

and the quiet storefronts almost upset me
